Its great fun flying drones and capturing images and video around the countryside, just for my own pleasure. In some cases friends and family like to see places I have captured. Our local newspaper has featured drone shots in their Photo of the Week spot feature. I still believe it’s mainly the novelty of the aerial views rather than the technical quality of my snaps
Most recently the Essex Chronical and Brentwood Gazette featured two-page spreads of my images around Essex
I was also pleased that the editor of the Drone User magazine was kind enough to feature a story on using aerial photography with one of my other activities playing Walking Football. Retirement or semi-retirement its difficult to fit all of these activities in around holidays in the sunshine
